What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies that are verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. They're a not-for-profit organisation based in the USA with offices all over the world. They exist to help companies be better – to benefit all people, communities, and the planet, not just them and their shareholders.

The B stands for ‘benefit for all’. B Corps are committed to balancing purpose and profit and forming a movement to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. The B Corp certification is globally recognised.

By achieving a B Corp certification we have enshrined in our company constitution a commitment to do good for the planet, our people and our clients.

Why did Kiandra become a B Corp?
We decided that the future of Kiandra needed to include a commitment to all our stakeholders, both current and future. These include our employees and their families, clients, partners, the people they serve, and our planet. We believe that good companies are those that contribute more to society than they take. B Corp certification is helping us live up to that ideal.

The B Corp certification a mark of trust and proof that we're using our business as a force for good and balancing people, planet and profit. It allows us, our employees and clients to benchmark Kiandra against other ethical and sustainable peers

As we enter our 30th year,
I reflect that we’ve had decisions to make on our journey that can have trade-offs between financial gain, people, communities, and the planet. We've always worked hard to make the right decision in alignment with our values.
B Corp reflects these values, and therefore it was an easy decision to work to become
B Corp certified.

Being a registered charity, we were fortunate to receive pro-bono assistance from Kiandra for a critical project we needed help with. Their expertise, deep industry knowledge and overall commitment were vital to us achieving a successful outcome.
