It was 2017 when we first completed our self-assessment using the free online tool. At the time, we did not meet the grade.
As co-founders, we agreed that the future of the business needed to include a commitment to all our stakeholders, both current and future. These include our employees and their families, clients, partners, the people they serve, and our planet. And so, we embarked on a mission to become a B Corp. Through the process our business has evolved; our choices have been challenged and changed; and our policies, practices and benefits have been overhauled.
Reflecting on why we aimed for B Corp certification, we acknowledge that society more than ever depends on brands to do the right thing, but in a world where there is so much competition for your attention with questionable claims and ‘greenwashing’, it's important that we can make informed choices; to choose brands where all stakeholders agree make a positive impact.
We consider B Corp certification to be a guide for us to validate that we are doing the right thing and that symbol of trust that our stakeholders should expect. Even without the badge of certification, the exercise has improved our business and the work that we do, making it an immensely worthwhile endeavour.
It wasn’t easy though. We had this on our radar since 2017 and started the process in earnest in 2021. It was a rigorous process to review and reimagine how we do things from recruitment, our employee value proposition, how we work and grow as a team and even our client list. Each change and new initiative brought us one point closer to achieving the minimum 80 points required to apply for certification, but more importantly for us, it made us proud to be a ‘good’ company.
We believe that the role of companies needs to change and that the best companies are those that contribute more to society than they take. B Corp certification is helping us live up to that ideal. We're excited to be part of a global movement of businesses using their power to build a more sustainable and equitable future.

Low-code platforms like OutSystems are transforming how complex software is built - especially in regulated industries like government, healthcare, and financial services. But success with low-code isn’t guaranteed just because the platform is powerful. The difference between a successful project and a stalled one often comes down to the implementation partner.
This guide explains how Kiandra uses modern techniques including low-code platforms, GenAI-assisted discovery, and custom-code redevelopment, to help organisations safely reimagine, rebuild and replatform these legacy systems. It’s designed for CIOs, CTOs and enterprise IT leaders ready to act but unsure where to start.
When you’re facing a high-stakes technology project - tight deadlines, legacy systems, and immovable compliance requirements - the margin for error is zero. But the challenge isn’t just the project itself. It’s choosing the right software partner to deliver it.
Whether you’re curious about custom software or have a specific problem to solve – we’re here to answer your questions. Fill in the following form, and we’ll be in touch soon.
