Kiandra actively recruits and retains the best IT brains available. Recognised industry leaders, authors, teachers and evangelists fill our ranks. These are just a few of them…
Cam is a die-hard Blues supporter, basketball, soccer and motorsport nut, he also happens to be the Managing Director of Kiandra, co-founding the company over 20 years ago while still at Uni. He is the longest standing Kiandra Footy Tips winner… as those who have beat him are coincidentally no longer with us.
Mart’s IT story started over 30 years ago when he started developing adventure games for his 2nd grade primary school friends. This secured his nerd-status and removed any possibility of him becoming a sporting superstar. Co-founding Kiandra, (with his sportier mate Cam) while studying at Uni, over 20 years ago was a logical progression.
The only thing Chris loves more than technology is being a dad – and he has an impressive array of dad-jokes to prove it. When he’s not leading the infrastructure team’s technology strategy he’s spending his down time with his wife, young daughters and retired greyhound mutt Jane.
Erik is the money man and Kiandra’s BFG. So combined this makes him the most feared person at Kiandra! Erik plays a pivotal role ensuring the ongoing financial strength of Kiandra to support its growth and development.
Cameron is from Fitzroy but insists, between sips of espresso and ordering vintage band t-shirts that have been worn-in strictly by genuine fans who “get it”, that he is just a normal guy. He heads up the Sales and Marketing team which primarily involves settling disputes about appropriate RnB selections, notifying the team of shows on Netflix they MUST see and going to, and calling, meetings. Cameron has more than 20 years’ experience in advertising, public relations and sales roles but he promises this is the best one yet. He also used to be a drummer so his parents are really pleased that phase is over.
With a career spanning close to two decades in the IT industry, Jason has a wealth of experience in IT strategy development and execution, process enablement and refinement, and IT operations and service delivery – that’s why we picked him to head up our Technology Infrastructure division. In his spare time Jason can be found at his local archery club, or behind the computer mastering the art of coding (much to the chagrin of our software development division).
Affectionately known as “The Councillor” in recognition of his background in local Government, Phil is an IT industry veteran, clocking up over two decades in custom developed software solutions sales and consulting. The Councillor has a penchant for fishing and always seems to go AWOL during trout season.
Christos has a passion for soccer and takes his role as coach of the local team very seriously. Almost as seriously as he takes the responsibility of providing his customers with the best tech solutions to achieve their business goals.
Now we can’t say for certain but we are pretty sure that Tony is the only Agilist who spends his down time knee-deep in wires and solder flux, building lasers from scratch. But we’re not complaining – this made him incredibly handy at our Nodebot hackathon recently! When not at the helm of his 32-amp water-cooled argon laser, he’s also very handy at ensuring the successful delivery of projects for our clients in his role as Software Delivery Manager.
As well as being one of our resident mad cyclists, Bianca has a passion for transformation and continuous improvement, and is a leader in building high performing cultures. She focusses on finding the right people, mixing them with the great people already at Kiandra, and developing the working environment so they can thrive. Her goal is to make Kiandra THE place to work for IT professionals.
Dan burns about 6 million calories a day – not from breaking into company and government networks (legally), but because he is health nut, addicted to pain! Nicknamed “The General” as a result of his multitude of industry qualifications Dan was handpicked by the EC-Council to be one of the first 10 in the world to undertake the Certified Ethical Hacker version 7 training.
