Kiandra’s Windows Phone evangelist, and very talented Software Developer Lars Klint has been hand-picked by the team at Nokia to participate in an exclusive Hackathon in Sweden later this month, to code alongside some of Nokia’s imaging experts.
Congratulations Lars, you should be extremely proud of your achievement – we certainly are!
The Nokia Lumia 1020 is the biggest revolution in smartphone imaging technology, boasting a ground breaking 41 mega pixel camera. Nokia has reinvented zoom and taken imaging to a whole new level, and in order to make the most of this exciting new technology opened the gauntlet to the world-wide dev community through the Future Capture competition. The competition challenged devs to dream up imaging apps and hacks that make the most of the amazing new device and Lars was selected as one of the ten winners (and the only winner from Australia)!
Nokia will fly Lars to Sweden where he will be amongst the first to get his hands on the Nokia Lumia 1020 and gain global exposure for his talents. The 1020 goes on sale from September around the world.
Competition was fierce and Nokia received over a thousand ideas and submissions from developers from almost every corner of the world. Judges were blown away with the creativity and innovation in Lars’ and the other nine winners’ entries.
Nokia are keeping the winning ideas under wraps until the Hackathon, where the devs will turn their concepts into reality. So stay tuned for more!
