Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year 2009

Kiandra has been awarded the Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year 2009 in the category of Custom Development Solutions, Application Infrastructure Development, for our custom developed eNoteFile software and hosted server solution for eNoteFile Services.

poty2009large

eNoteFile draws on the exceptional skills of Kiandra's development team to securely record, manage, search, synchronise and share detailed notations and related documentation, in an seamlessly online and offline desktop-based environment.

“We are delighted to be recognised as a global player in the custom software development
space. To be globally recognised for our work is fantastic,”
said Martin Cooperwaite,
Kiandra’s Software Development Director.

“eNoteFile has evolved the concept of putting pen to paper to a whole new level. Built using
the latest in Microsoft .NET WPF technology, the solution allows you to create, manage and
share records in a secure online and offline environment.

“eNoteFile was developed in response to a demand from the physiotherapy and physical
therapy industries for clinical notation. Today, more than 1,000 customers use eNoteFile for
notation purposes, ranging from GPs and architects to football coaches, including Geelong
Football Club.

“The technology can also fill out forms, email and efficiently share information across an
entire organisation. You always have seamless, secure access to your information, even
when working offline. It’s small, easy-to-use and free to download,”
Martin Cooperwaite said.

Ken Hinkley, Assistant coach - Geelong Football Club:
"We use eNoteFile at our live games. It's very effective, because it allows us to share notes easily around Australia. For example, we can have a scout in WA taking notes on the electronic tablet and as they are being written, I can see the notes in my living room at home in Victoria. We no longer need paper notes and can record data quickly."

Microsoft:
"Kiandra System Solutions has created a vertical industry solution that has become widely available outside its targeted industry of physiotherapy and physical therapy. This solution is described as “OneNote meeting the mesh” with the rich experience and capabilities of the PC leveraged through Web-connected systems that enable individuals to communicate and capture data in unprecedented ways. The solution shows how the software-plus-services model creates a multiplier effect—when client and server systems are combined for the benefit of the user and the organization, it results in new ways of working in a range of industries. The core application is available on the Internet as a free download and has a business model based on usage measured by data synchronization. This solution clearly demonstrates what can be accomplished by experimenting with business models."
