Toll Shipping has a web-based application used to receive, deliver and manifest cargo for its Bass Strait cargo operation. Kiandra took over support, maintenance and development of this system for Toll. The functions provided by this system include back office functions (rating, invoicing, debits, credits, posting to the accounting system, reporting), customer access via the Internet, delivery and scheduled reporting.
In addition, Toll engaged Kiandra to build a secure database solution to analyse sales and statistical data from each business unit and to report on the performance of these.
Toll business unit information is imported into the system and a detailed trend and historical analysis is then performed, enabling Toll to revue overall organisational revenue performance, over any period, from one location.
