Department of Sustainability and Environment - LandTraCS
The Department of Sustainability and Environment Transaction Centre in Seymour provides a state-wide service for the delivery of transactional work for all private use tenures on Crown land. This central office provides a focal point for services requested through other DSE staff, solicitors / conveyancers, other agencies and directly by members of the public.
The centre currently processes an approximate average of 500 transactions per month relating to land tenure licences, land valuations, sales, cases and jobs.
Facilitation of these transactions occured via the interrogation of several disparate systems including an in-house system to manage valuation requests and sales related transactions.
DSE engaged Kiandra to develop a new LandTraCS solution to consolidate all sources of data and provide a single system to address all of their requirements.
Kiandra’s solution facilitates the work of the Transaction Centre and regional Case Managers in administering private use tenures over public land, in a way that improves access to key information so that opportunities to improve customer service are presented through more efficient application of the business processes and more effective information management.
