Kiandra developed Police Bank Online, a solution that manages and facilitates police members to sell accrued time off, be allocated to specific operations, and receive payment in return.
Police Bank Online is a full Microsoft technology stack software application solution incorporating Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2, Visual Studio 2010, Windows Communication Foundation and Microsoft .NET 4 and ASP.NET MCV2.

Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 delivered cost-effective and scalable high performance to over 14,000 users. SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services provided rich reporting that has been identified as one of the best reporting examples within Victoria Police, and has facilitated a rapid shift away from their legacy Crystal Reports platform within Victoria Police. Visual Studio 2010/2008 provided exceptional developer productivity due to its tight integration with .NET and SQL Server 2008, out-of-the-box unit testing and deep integration with Team Foundation Server for source code and work item management. The technologies provided via .NET delivered a concept-to-delivery timeframe of only 6 months, and Windows Communication Foundation enabled a multi-interface compatible ‘socket’ for external system integration of HR financial management data.

Police bank is an online application that allows for the internal advertising of available operation positions that police bank members can apply for.
The application intelligently matches member applications to available positions, employing a 'best fit' analysis to ensure members with the relevant experience and qualifications are matched with operations with similar requirements.
With over 3500 advertised positions and an 80% fill rate in 2009, Police Bank Online has reduced the workload of administrators by several orders of magnitude and given Police Bank members an effective, transparent and easy to use process though which that can gain access to the operations of most interest and convenience to them.
Kiandra's solution has provided a huge improvement to Police operations throughout the state, enabling Victoria Police to launch over 4000 additional days of experienced resource deployment for specific evidence-based targeted operations over the last 12 months. This is a expected to double and then triple in the coming years.
