Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 delivers multiple instancing on the same hardware, dramatically saving infrastructure costs while maintaining customer isolation, security and high availability. SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services provides rich reporting that customers can extend themselves.
Visual Studio 2010/2008 provides exceptional developer productivity due to its tight integration with .NET and SQL Server 2008, out-of-the-box unit testing and deep integration with Team Foundation Server for source code and work item management. Customer testimonials
Katy Johnson, Capital Works Manager for Coles, says "We now find and resolve project works problems immediately. We have achieved forecasts and have eliminated revenue shortfalls in the order of $50 million! In addition, detailed status reports that used to take 2 weeks now take 2 days, saving $500k per annum." In addition, savings of around $2 million have resulted from the avoidance of abortive or redundant capital works. The planning horizon has extended from 1 to 3 years, reducing the shortfall in capital spending by $50 million and increasing margins by $5 million.
For Wilson Homes, Capex Pro has also been extremely successful. Managing Director Ben Wilson says "Capex Pro delivers the capability to plan and manage our program to a far greater extent than we ever could before. We now accurately monitor program performance, find exceptions, reduce costs and improve customer service. We've streamlined internal processes and the quality and flow of information between our office and site operations. The cause and impact of any change can be quickly managed upstream and downstream with a dramatic increase in staff response time and actions. All this from a website accessed from Internet Explorer! I've already realized $200,000 of savings since adoption in 2009, and 2010 looks to be even better."
